Design of Dodge Grand Caravan
One of the most notable features of the Grand Caravan is its intelligent design for accommodating both passengers and storage. There are numerous cubbies, pockets and stowing options. The Stow 'n Go is Dodge's signature storage system for its seats, which allows the rear seats to collapse completely into the floor of the van. Third-row Stow 'n Go seats are standard on all trims, and the higher trims include the super Stow 'n Go bucket seats that have in-floor storage bins when the seats are not stowed. Seven passengers fit comfortably in the Grand Caravan. The base SE model comes with heated mirrors, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, 17-inch steel wheels, tri-zone climate control, a six-speaker audio system, cruise control, a rearview camera, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, power locks/mirrors/windows, and more. The SE Plus tacks on more features including the Uconnect system, power windows in the second and third row, second row Stow 'n Go seats, aluminum wheels, and more. The highest trim level, the GT, includes various luxury features such as navigation, heated second-row seats, a nine-speaker audio system, and more. Special option packages can be added, depending on the trim selected. One option is the Convenience Group Package which includes a universal garage door opener, a heated steering wheel, second- and third-row window shades, heated front seats, Uconnect Voice Command, and more. The 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan has 31.1 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in use and a spacious 140.3 cubic feet with the second and third row seats stowed.
