The Power Wagon is added to the 2500 line-up. This model offers the "Macho Power Wagon" style and legacy graphics. It comes with a new grille, wheels, bumpers, and interior. The Off-Road Package that can be added offers hill descent control, transfer case skid plate, tow hooks, wheel flares, limited-slip differential, on/off-road tires, off road decals, and Bilstein shocks. Under the 2500's Hood
The RAM 2500 gives off so much power. The engine that is behind that power is a 5.7-liter V8 gas engine. It generated 383 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The transmission it is paired with a six-speed automatic. This engine has a modified version that uses compressed natural gas. They either comes with rear-wheel drive or part-time four-wheel drive. The Power Wagon comes exclusively with four-wheel drive. There are two other engine options. A 6.4-liter V8 engine comes with a six-speed automatic that generates 429 pound-feet of torque and 410 horsepower. Another option is a turbocharged 6.7-liter diesel six-cylinder engine. It can come with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The manual produces 350 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque and the automatic produces 370 horsepower and 800 pound-feet of torque.
Design of RAM 2500
There are many options for the RAM 2500. There are three cab style, six trim levels, and two bed lengths. The cab styles are a regular cab, crew cab, ad Mega cab. The sizes are a 6-foot-4 and 8-foot bed. You could really customize the truck into what you want. The trim levels are the Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. The Tradesman and SLT can get all three cab styles, the rest can only get the top two cab styles: crew cab or Mega cab. Some of the standard features in the RAM 2500 are automatic headlights, a locking tailgate, a six-speaker stereo, cloth upholstery, a 40/20/40-split front bench, black grille and bumpers, a tilt-only steering wheel, and 17-inch steel wheels. Features differ for the regular and crew cabs. The crew cabs come with power-adjustable, heated mirrors, and power accessories, while the regular cabs have manual controls with non-heated mirrors. The top features available on the top trim, Limited, are monotone paint, additional chrome exterior trim, automatic wipers, automatic high-beams, 20-inch wheels, keyless entry/ignition, black leather, and the RAMBox cargo management system. Optional features are a load-leveling suspension, fifth-wheel trailer preparation, a CD player, a sunroof, off-road tires, and a cargo-view camera.

The frame is made with 50,000-PSI hydroformed steel and it incorporates more crossmembers for efficiency and strength. There are front and rear rail contours added as well to make it more secure. There are a multiple airbags standard in the 2500 pickup like the multistage front airbags, side-curtain airbags, and front-seat side-mounted airbags. The other standard features are brakes, electronic stability control, remote keyless entry, tire pressure monitoring, and the Sentry Key theft deterrent.
